Swiss citizens can get married in Thailand with a tourist visa and they also can apply for a certificate of capacity to marry at the Swiss Embassy in Thailand. The processing time takes around 2-3 months.

Step 1: Send all documents to VisaThai.
Step 2: Order Certificate of Capacity to Marry at Swiss Embassy in Thailand.
Step 3: Pick up document at Swiss Embassy in Thailand on your behalf.
Step 4: All documents certified at Ministry of Foreign Affairs on your behalf.
Step 5: Have the marriage registered
If you have plans in using the marriage certificate as a legal document in other countries, it is best to have it translated into English or your own language and notarized at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs or at the Embassy.
