Beginning May 1, 2025, all non-Thai citizens entering Thailand — by land, sea, or air — will be required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival.
This new requirement applies to all visa types and all lengths of stay.
When to Submit
You must submit the TDAC at least 3 days before your arrival. You can choose to submit:
- As an individual
- As a group (ideal for families or travel parties)
Need to make basic changes after submitting? No problem — you can return to the website and update details.
However, the TDAC website emphasizes that applicants will NOT be able to change:
- Name
- Passport number
- Nationality
- Date of birth
If you need to make any of these changes, you will need to submit a new form through the TDAC website.

Required Information
Personal Information:
- Full name
- Nationality
- Phone number
- Email address
- Passport details
Trip Information:
- Flight number
- Purpose of travel
- Address in Thailand (hotel or residence)
After submission, you’ll receive a confirmation email, so be sure to enter the correct email address. You’ll need to show this email to immigration officers along with your passport and travel documents when you arrive in Thailand.
⚠️ What Happens If You Don’t Submit TDAC?
As of this writing (April 24, 2025), the system hasn’t launched yet, so we don’t know what the consequences will be — and we recommend you don’t find out the hard way.
Just to be safe:
- Fill in the form online
- Receive and save the confirmation email
- Print it or keep it accessible on your phone
- Show it at immigration upon arrival
